I was introduced to the field of Recreation Therapy in 2012. I completed a Diploma in Recreation Therapy, and moved on from there to Brock University where I completed my Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure Studies with a Major in Therapeutic Recreation. My career is driven by a deep passion for enhancing the lives of others, particularly older adults. Over the years, I’ve gained invaluable experience working with seniors, with a special focus on those experiencing memory loss. I am committed to creating therapeutic, engaging, and meaningful activities that support physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Helping individuals navigate the challenges of aging, fostering their independence, and enriching their quality of life are at the heart of my work.

The initial assessment is a comprehensive, 1.5-hour session where we thoroughly evaluate your current physical, emotional, and cognitive needs. This detailed assessment helps form a personalized care plan designed to support your specific goals and interests. Afterward, we’ll go over the plan together, ensuring it aligns with your expectations and needs. This collaborative approach sets the foundation for a therapeutic journey tailored just for you.
